6. Alec Guinness

Guinness disliked his character Obi-Wan Kenobi in Star Wars so much that he asked George Lucas to have the character written out of the script, presumably by being killed in order to have a less significant role in the sequel. He considered Obi-Wan boring and felt his dialogue was nonsensical. At least the character was wise.
