American actress, model, and singer Lindsay Lohan was spotted carrying the Holy Quran after her first day of community service in Brooklyn, New York.As the article at The Daily Mall helpfully points out, Lohan also had posted a picture of a verse from the Qur’an to her Instagram account (specifically, 20:114 – “Oh Allah! increase me in my knowledge!”) and then deleted it.

A spokesperson for Lohan told The Independent: “To my knowledge she is not considering fully converting to Islam, but I know she has been taking a keen interest in the Arabic culture of late.”
