While he may have been outwitted by Jay Leno, Conan O’Brien is smart in his own right. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Harvard. He was named the “pre-eminent joker” of the class of 1985 which was well-deserved since he was also president of the supposedly secret Harvard humor magazine. He majored in literature and history with his final thesis discussing the works of William Faulkner and Flannery O’Connor and their representation of children who age too quickly.
