will.i.am has been very dedicated to promoting education and furthering access to higher education. He raised $2.4 million in 2014 for youth education. He’s also given out over $500k in scholarships to select individuals. He also founded the I.Am.Angel Foundation, which works to provide education opportunities for people in his hometown of Boyle Heights in East L.A.
