Glover found fame as Marty McFly’s geek dad in Back To The Future, and issues with the film’s ending created enough tension with director Robert Zemeckis that he was not invited back to reprise the role in the second movie. Zemeckis went as far as hiring a different actor and using make, editing, and favorable shot angles rather than use Glover again.
